Yes, the prototype Digital Archive Room is now ready for testing. There are 2 active folders entered with more in the works.

And yes, you can browse for folder data or search by keywords!

To access, merely use a browser or cellphone and go to address museumDB.CarolineHistory.online. (Instructions on becoming a registered user in in a different How Do I topic.).

To access a folder, simply go to a Category of interest, then to a topic within the Category. The various Cabinet folders are exposed. Clicking on a topic gets you a summary of the folder (if one was generated), or the pages within a folder.

You can also access this folder with your cellphone. Simply look at the folder and you will see a special label with a QR code. Use your cellphone camera on the QR code and your in.

Looking for archive data using keywords is now possible. You would use your laptop and go to the Google Drive account at museum@CarolineHistory.online. (password available for select users). Then simply search using the Text Keyword feature. You would be presented with a list of folders containing the search keyword(s).

You may of course use Google Docs to search within the folder for the exact pages.
